Design Team Experience

 

Recent roadway and bridge experience for the Guy Engineering team includes the following projects:

 

· Craig, Nowata, Osage, Rogers County:  Design of more than 50 county bridge and road replacement projects for county governments/ODOT.

 

· State Highway 88, ODOT:  Design 3.3 miles of 4-lane divided highway in Rogers County including replacement of 3 bridge RCBs.

 

· 91st Street – U.S. Highway 169 to Garnett Road, City of Tulsa:  Fast-track design of widening to 5-lane road including drainage and right-of-way.

 

· Mooser Creek Bridge, City of Tulsa:  Design and prepare plans and specifications for replacement of urban bridge.  Pre-cast arches were constructed.

 

· N. 41st Street W. from 43rd Street N. to 28th Street N., Osage County:  Design roadway improvements including 2-12 foot lanes with 6 foot paved shoulders and replacement of two bridge RCBs.

 

· W. 36th Street N., Osage County:  Design roadway improvements beginning at Tulsa/Osage County line on 36th Street N., extending west to Osage Drive, then north to West 43rd Street N., then west to North 41st West Avenue including replacement of Flat Rock Creek Bridge.

 

· Bridge 252 Replacement at East 11th Street near 173rd  East  Avenue,  City  of  Tulsa:   Design of 3-cell RCBs and channel improvement.

 

· State Highway 2, ODOT:  Prepare construction plans for improvements at intersection of Eastern State Hospital Road and State Highway 2 in Craig County.

 

· State Highway 9, ODOT:  Prepare plans for widening State Highway 9 from Stigler 8.3 miles east.

 

· Lindsey-Mayes Road, Mayes County:  Design improvement plans for 5.7 miles of collector route west of Locust Grove.

 

· Madison Street, City of Broken Arrow:  Design is underway for new alignment and improvement to 3-lane curb & gutter for 0.5 miles north of the Broken Arrow, east of the new Bass Pro Shop.

 

· 9th Street – Washington Street to New Orleans Street, City of Broken Arrow:  Design is underway for improvement to 3-lane curb & gutter.

 

· Maintenance Zones 7059 N&S, 9030, 3003, 4013, 3073, Non-Arterial Streets in Districts 3, 6. and 8, City of Tulsa: Prepare plans and specifications for rehabilitation and repair of non-arterial streets.  Projects included storm sewer capacity analysis, and incidental utility relocations.

 

· Off-System Bridge Inspections: Inspect County bridges for Craig, Nowata, Rogers, Osage, and Delaware counties.  Also, inspection for Miami, Bartlesville, and Jenks.
