Vice President Engineering & Senior Civil Engineer
Aaron received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Oklahoma State University in 2004.
His project experience at GUY Engineering Services includes design of storm sewers and roadway rehabilitation, hydraulic modeling, site design, hydraulic analysis, quantity calculations and cost estimates, roadway design, drainage analysis, waterline design and mapping, right-of-way coordination and design.
Aaron has been a part of the design effort as project manager, designer, or quality control on more than 60 county bridge design projects. He has also been a key designer on five county or city roadway projects. He coordinates all production design work, ensuring that project managers, engineers, and technicians are trained on client policies and procedures in order to comply with all standards and to provide high-quality plans and cost-effective production. He also coordinates with the survey and utility relocations departments to ensure projects are completed on time.
Aaron has been the Program Manager for the bridge inspection team for the past two years and a team leader for the past six years. As Program Manager, he provides routine and special bridge inspections consisting of observations and/or assessments needed to determine the physical and functional condition of the bridges. He also establishes and monitors the inspection schedule to ensure timelines are met in accordance with contracts. In addition, Aaron performs field inspections, writes repair recommendations, performs scour evaluations, supervises invoicing, and reviews inspection reports with owners, and conducts repair follow-up inspections.
Aaron was named the 2015 Young Engineer of the Year by the Oklahoma Society of Professional Engineers. In 2017, he was also named an Achiever Under 40 by the Oklahoma Journal Record.
