Colonel (Ret) Blickensderfer, President and Principal Engineer of GUY Engineering, retired in 2015 after 30 years of service with the Oklahoma Air National Guard, 138th Fighter Wing, Tulsa ANG Base. His duty assignments included Director of Domestic Operations, Deputy Commander Joint Task Force, 138th Fighter Wing Vice Commander, 138th Mission Support Group Commander, and 138th Civil Engineer Squadron Commander. As Base Civil Engineer, he managed the design and construction of all projects for the Tulsa Air National Guard base, including an A-7 to F-16 conversion and base expansion. He also served as the Civil Engineer for 16th AEW supporting the liberation of Herzegovina/Yugoslavia providing operational support for personnel in France, Italy, Germany, Cyprus, and Bosnia. During his military career, he was awarded the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal with three devices, Commendation Medal with one device, and Achievement Medal.
