Director of Finance and Human Resources

Job Description

GUY is seeking a Director of Finance and Human Resources to lead our administrative team and serve as part of the management team. The role will include leading a small administrative team with emphasis on accounting and finance, human resources, and information technology.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and timely financial reporting including monthly reports, forecasts, and budgets as well as various financial analyses
  • Coordinate, strategize, and execute plans to attain financial and administrative goals
  • Oversee and manage the development and implementation of goals, policies and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting, human resources and information technology
  • Lead human resources including benefits analysis, 401K and ESOP administration, policy management, and new hire on-boarding
  • Further develop human resources and administration, compensation and benefits, performance evaluations, training, and recruiting
  • Administer leases, contracts, licensure, certifications, and insurance

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance
  • 5-10 years accounting management experience
  • Organizational development, human resources and program operations experience
  • Familiarity with payroll and benefit plans
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and high attention to detail
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
  • A flexible, positive team player with desire to multitask and ability to motivate and help lead teams to results

  • Open book management experience
  • Deltek Ajera experience
  • Experience with accounting for engineering consulting firm
