Rebecca Alvarez, PE, RWA
President
Rebecca loves watching water flow, whether it’s through the Keystone Dam or flowing down a creek. Water calms and intrigues her. However, she also enjoys the engineering mindset of solving problems, including clients’ most difficult problems.
These two interests have merged in Rebecca’s role as President and Principal Engineer at GUY. Her engineering specialty is stormwater design, but her passion is client relations and problem-solving.
Rebecca makes sure clients are satisfied and projects get done, no matter the obstacles or difficulties along the way.
Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys playing with her basset hounds and traveling. She met her husband on an engineering volunteerism trip to Bolivia – he’s a civil engineer too.
Rebecca received her B.S. in Civil Engineering in 2005 and M.S. in Biosystems Engineering in 2007 from Oklahoma State University. She is a registered professional engineer in numerous states and was the Oklahoma Society of Professional Engineers’ Young Engineer of the Year in 2017.
