We have plenty to share about the great work happening at GUY so sit back and enjoy the update! We are grateful to have you with us on our journey of engineering safe and lasting infrastructure solutions for our communities
Celebrating Women & Girls In Science
We were thrilled to participate in the Women & Girls in Science Community Fair, which took place on February 11th at the Oklahoma Aquarium!
This event celebrated International Women & Girls in Science Day, highlighting the incredible opportunities in STEM and fostering connections for the next generation of scientists, creators, and innovators.
As a proud woman-owned engineering company, this cause is deeply personal to us. Supporting women and girls in STEM is not just an investment in their futures—it’s an investment in a better world. We are passionate about encouraging young minds to explore the possibilities within science, technology, engineering, and math and were honored to contribute to this event.
We hosted a booth at the fair, where visitors learned more about our work, our values, and how we strive to make a difference in the community. Whether attendees were aspiring scientists or simply curious about the incredible opportunities in STEM, we loved meeting everyone!
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, and to the Oklahoma Aquarium for hosting such an inspiring event!
Tulsa Industry Day
The Tulsa Post Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) hosted a highly successful Industry Day 2025 on February 5-6 at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel & Convention Center. This premier event brought together large and small businesses, government representatives, and industry leaders for insightful briefings, networking opportunities, and strategic discussions.
Attendees participated in a dynamic schedule, including breakout sessions, keynote addresses, and an engaging networking reception. The success of this event was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the planning team, sponsors, and volunteers who made it possible.
We are also excited to announce that Dan Young, our VP of Business Development, has been appointed as the new President of the Tulsa Post SAME. His leadership and industry expertise will further strengthen the organization’s mission to foster collaboration between government and industry partners. Congratulations to Dan and a big thank you to everyone who contributed to making Industry Day 2025 a valuable and impactful experience!
This year’s event underscored the importance of industry- government engagement, offering a platform for meaningful conversations about upcoming projects, procurement opportunities, and innovation in engineering and construction. With a strong turnout and enthusiastic participation, Industry Day 2025 highlighted the Tulsa Post’s commitment to strengthening relationships that drive mission success. We look forward to building on this momentum and continuing to support the Tulsa SAME community in the year ahead!
CAD Week
At GUY, we took CAD Week as an opportunity to shine a well-deserved spotlight on two of our most talented and hardworking team members—Becky Pitts and Allen Manhalter. These two CAD wizards are the unseen heroes behind our designs, translating ideas into precise, buildable plans with unwavering accuracy and skill.
Whether they’re refining intricate details, troubleshooting complex geometry, or making last-minute adjustments, Becky and Allen ensure our projects come to life with perfection. Throughout the week, we celebrated their dedication with words of appreciation, social media shoutouts, and, of course, plenty of CAD puns that kept the office laughing.
We also took a moment to reflect on how essential their work is—not just to our company, but to the entire industry. Without CAD technicians like Becky and Allen, the precision and innovation that drive engineering forward wouldn’t be possible.
To show our gratitude, we presented them with personalized acrylic plaques, each bearing a title that perfectly sums up their expertise. Allen’s plaque proudly declares him a “Drafting Genius,” recognizing his ability to bring concepts to life with remarkable precision. Becky’s reads “Miracle Worker,” a fitting tribute to her incredible skill in solving even the most complex design challenges. These small tokens of appreciation represent our immense gratitude for their hard work and dedication.
As CAD Week wrapped up, we made sure Becky and Allen knew just how much they mean to the GUY team. Their work is more than just technical drawings—it’s the foundation of every successful project we undertake. So here’s to Becky and Allen, the true architects of our success. Thank you for everything you do, and for making engineering look easy— one perfectly placed line at a time!
OKC Office Moving
Our Oklahoma City office has recently undergone an exciting transformation, moving into a new suite that better accommodates our growing team and evolving needs. While we remain at the same convenient address, our move to Suite 100 provides a more functional and efficient workspace, ensuring our staff has the resources they need to continue delivering top-tier engineering solutions.
This relocation reflects GUY’s ongoing commitment to investing in our people, optimizing our work environment, and enhancing collaboration to better serve our clients across Oklahoma.
With this upgrade, our Oklahoma City team is positioned for continued success, equipped with a space that fosters innovation and teamwork.
Whether you’re visiting for a meeting or just stopping by to see the new space, we’re excited to share this milestone with our employees, clients, and partners.

Year In Review
A Record-Setting Year of Growth, Success, And Innovation
As we close the books on an extraordinary year, we celebrate the dedication, passion, and resilience that made 2024 a record-breaking success for GUY. We achieved unprecedented milestones, set company records, and strengthened our foundation for continued growth.
This past year, we reached record-setting revenue and secured our first federal contract with the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) as a prime contractor under the GUY-Kenall JV. To support our expansion, we welcomed ten new employees and continued to invest in professional development. Team members earned key certifications, including R/W-RAC, FAA Part 107, and NSTMs, while Olga Hopper was promoted twice—first to Director of Engineering and then to Vice President of Engineering.
GUY’s excellence was recognized beyond our walls, with features in The Journal Record’s “In the Lead: Best Women- Owned Businesses” Power List and the ACEC Oklahoma Engineering Excellence Honor Award for the 7th Street Bridge. Our President, Rebecca Alvarez, was elected to the ACEC Oklahoma Board of Directors, and Jason Mock was sworn in as Secretary for the Oklahoma Statewide Chapter 33 of the IRWA.
We completed major infrastructure projects, including nearly five miles of new roadway in Haskell County and bridges in Mannford and Wister. We also proudly marked our 37th year in business, 10 years as an ESOP, and opened our first Texas office in League City. Additionally, GUY was honored with an ODOT On-System Bridge Inspections contract, further solidifying our role in transportation infrastructure.
Eight of our projects were let for construction, with our engineering estimates averaging a remarkable 0.77% difference from the awarded bids. As we look ahead, we remain inspired by what we’ve accomplished and energized for the future. Thank you to our employees, clients, and partners—here’s to an even bigger and better 2025!
