Right-of-Way Department Manager
Jason Mock serves as GUY Engineering’s Right-of-Way Department Manager, bringing extensive experience in right-of-way acquisition, relocation assistance, and land surveying. A native of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Jason holds an Associate Degree in Animal Science and combines technical expertise with a practical, people-focused approach to project delivery.
Jason helped establish GUY’s Right-of-Way Department from the ground up when he and a colleague were selected to launch and develop the service line. Today, he oversees the department’s daily operations, including project management, staffing, fee proposals, client coordination, and status reporting. His experience spans a wide range of transportation projects, with a focus on right-of-way acquisition, utility relocation, and road and bridge improvements throughout Oklahoma and beyond.
Known for his direct communication style and ability to build relationships, Jason excels at working with landowners and stakeholders to navigate the right-of-way process efficiently and respectfully. He takes pride in helping property owners understand project impacts while keeping projects moving forward on schedule.
Jason has earned his Right-of-Way Relocation Assistance Certification (R/W-RAC) and is currently pursuing his Senior Right-of-Way Professional (SR/WA) designation. He remains committed to advancing his expertise and delivering successful outcomes for clients and communities.
Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time on his farm and working with cattle, reflecting the strong work ethic and rural values that have shaped both his personal and professional life.
