Pete Ellis, PE, CFM

Civil Engineer

Pete graduated from Oklahoma State University in December 2009 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. Before completing his degree, Pete worked as a civil engineering technician for five years, building experience in drafting, surveying, and civil design.

He has worked on numerous civil projects, including storm sewer design, drainage analysis, roadway and bridge design, pavement design, and simple structural steel design.

Pete has also completed additional coursework in hydraulic analysis and bridge modeling and has assisted in developing in-house hydraulic design. His duties at GUY include county bridge design, hydraulic analysis and bridge modeling, estimating quantities and construction costs, and plan development. He is also a member of GUY’s bridge inspection team.

Pete was named the 2016 Young Engineer of the Year by the Oklahoma Society of Professional Engineers.
