Pittsburg County District 3 Commissioner Ross Selman held a ribbon cutting on June 15th to celebrate the new Bridge #133 over Bull Creek.
The project was designed by Guy’s OKC metro office. The project consisted of replacing the original structurally deficient bridge, a 53 foot long single lane Pony Truss bridge built in 1928. The new bridge is a 32 foot wide, 83 foot long, precast concrete beam bridge.
The project was constructed by BridgeCo Contractors, Inc. from Wellston, OK. The new bridge cost $756,403 to construct and was funded with County Improvements for Roads and Bridges funds (state), Surface Transportation Program Funds (federal), and local County funds.
