Annual Company Training: A Day of Growth and Connection
Our recent annual company-wide training brought the entire team together for a dynamic day of learning, collaboration, and fun. Focused on deepening our understanding of ourselves and how we work best as a team, we explored our company-wide DiSC personality and Strengths Finder results.
By breaking into DiSC groups, we engaged in insightful discussions about how each of us handles conflict, embraces responsibilities, and finds motivation—or what might hold us back. This exercise fostered greater empathy and alignment, empowering us to leverage our diverse strengths for stronger collaboration.
The day wasn’t just about learning—it was about connection. We shared a lively group lunch, captured a memorable all-company photo with the help of our talented drone pilots, and wrapped up with an engineering challenge that sparked creativity and laughter. Teams competed to build the tallest tower using only spaghetti noodles, duct tape, and string, showcasing innovation and teamwork.
This annual tradition not only sharpens our skills but also reinforces the sense of community that drives our success.
Celebrating Sasha’s SR/WA Certification Achievement!
Last week, our office threw a heartfelt internal party to celebrate Sasha’s incredible accomplishment of earning the Senior Right of Way Professional (SR/WA) certification! The event was a joyful gathering to honor her dedication, hard work, and professional excellence. With smiles all around, we toasted to Sasha’s success and the inspiration she brings to our team.
The celebration featured Sasha’s favorite frozen fudge pops, lively conversations, and plenty of laughter as we shared in her well-earned moment. It was a perfect way to come together as an office and recognize the impact of her achievement. Congratulations again, Sasha, for shining so brightly!

Celebrating Bo & Conley’s Bridge Inspection Certification Success!
Last week, our office came together for a lively internal party to celebrate Bo and Conley’s impressive achievement of passing their FHWA-NHI-130055 Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges courses! This essential certification equips them to perform critical bridge inspections, and we couldn’t be prouder of their dedication and hard work. The celebration was a perfect way to honor their success and the expertise they bring to our team.
We enjoyed a delicious spread of Bo and Conley’s favorite pies, shared laughs, and toasted their accomplishment in true office spirit. Project Highlight: Bridge 179 Over Manard Bayou
We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of construction for Bridge 179 (NS 4458) over Manard Bayou in Cherokee County, District #2! This significant project replaces an outdated structure with a modern 3-span PC beam bridge, featuring a 26-foot clear roadway, TR-3 rails, and approach slabs on an offset alignment. Spanning approximately 1,900 feet of approach roadway, this new bridge enhances safety and connectivity, meeting the latest Oklahoma Department of Transportation standards.
Our team’s comprehensive efforts included survey, geotechnical investigations, hydraulic analysis, and utility relocation management, ensuring a robust design tailored to the region’s needs. The project navigated complex requirements, including a detailed hydraulic study using HEC-RAS and coordination for a USACE 404 permit. This milestone reflects our commitment to excellence and collaboration, and we’re proud to deliver a structure that will serve Cherokee County for years to come.
Congratulations to everyone involved!
