Bridge Dedication

The community of Wister celebrated a momentous occasion as a ribbon-cutting ceremony unveiled the newly constructed Bridge #191 over Unnamed Creek (Kennedy Road Bridge) on May 1st, 2024. This event marks a significant milestone for LeFlore County District #2 and the Choctaw Nation, whose partnership made this project a reality.

Constructed to replace the outdated and functionally obsolete bridge built in 1950, the new Bridge #191 is a 27-ft fast cast bridge, designed by the engineering prowess of GUY. The original bridge, with a load rating of 4 tons, was no longer suitable for modern traffic demands, necessitating its replacement.

The Choctaw Nation’s pivotal role in spearheading and funding this project underscores their unwavering commitment to enhancing local infrastructure and fostering community development. This project not only improves transportation efficiency but also enhances safety for all who utilize the bridge.

ESOP Anniversary

Guy Engineering is thrilled to mark a significant milestone in our journey-we have been an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) for 10 incredible years! To celebrate this achievement and the incredible teamwork that got us here, we hosted a memorable night of food and games for each office.

Our ESOP reflects the core values of our company, emphasizing collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to excellence. As employee-owners, we all play a vital role in Guy Engineering’s success, and this celebration was a testament to our collective dedication and hard work.

We are incredibly proud of what we have accomplished together over the past 10 years as an ESOP, and we look forward to many more years of success and growth as a team. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey. Your hard work and dedication are truly appreciated.
