Bridge #112A over Bird Creek in Osage County is the oldest and longest masonry bridge in Oklahoma. Built in 1912 and widened in 1940, this bridge is eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. Located on Lynn Ave. in Pawhuska, this functionally obsolete bridge still sees heavy truck traffic.
GUY is leading a team to rehabilitate this bridge so it can stay in service. In February, we visited the bridge with a snooper truck and a boat for a close-up inspection of the arches.
