This bridge was the first ODOT-let project in northeastern Oklahoma to use steel I-beams from the I-40 Crosstown Bridge beam recycling project. Funding was provided by a combination of Surface Transportation Program (STP) Funds and Oklahoma’s County Improvements for Roads and Bridges (CIRB) Program.
