Creek County and GUY Engineering held a ribbon cutting on April 13 at 11:00 a.m. to celebrate the completion of a new portion of West 81st Street South in Creek County.
Located in Creek County District 2, this 1.26-mile-long roadway provides a much-needed connection between SH-97 and Frankhoma Rd, including the McQuire Industrial Park and connection to SH-66. In addition to providing convenient access for area drivers, the new roadway will also improve response time for emergency services.
The $6.4 million project was designed by Guy Engineering Services and constructed by Paragon Contractors, both of Tulsa, OK. Funding for the project was provided by the County Improvements for Roads and Bridges fund.
