Bridge #69 over Curl Creek

This project replaced a structurally deficient two 28-foot I-beam span bridge with a 180 ft three span bridge (PC Beam). The project also included approximately 3400 ft of approaches. The new structure provides a significant improvement in terms of area drainage, as the existing bridge was hydraulically insufficient.

In addition, the approaches provide an alignment that is safer for the traveling public, allowing the operating speed to be upgraded to 45mph. Maintenance requirements are also reduced.
