Oklahoma Turnpike Authority 7th Street Bridge

This newly completed project is near Vinita, Oklahoma over the Will Rogers Turnpike. Designed to replace a 4-span I-Beam bridge constructed in 1957, the new 2-140’ span PC Beam bridge spans traffic over I-44.

This project also included 1.1 miles of approach roadway to provide safer access to the McDonald’s service plaza, the Cherokee Nation Vinita Health Center, and the Craig County fairgrounds by widening the lanes to 12’ and adding 8’ wide asphalt shoulders.

The project was a joint effort by Craig County, Cherokee Nation, ODOT, and Oklahoma Turnpike Authority.
