Thorough Inspections. Clear, Actionable Information.

Our inspectors evaluate bridge decks, superstructures, substructures, channels, and other accessible components in accordance with applicable NBIS, SNBI, ODOT BrM, AASHTO, and owner requirements. Our field teams use standardized checklists, consistent photo documentation, and established nomenclature to help ensure each inspection is complete, accurate, and easy to review. We provide more than a completed inspection form. Owners receive clear documentation, detailed photographs, condition information, and practical repair recommendations to support maintenance planning, budgeting, and informed decisions.

Quality Control at Every Stage

Quality assurance and quality control are built into GUY’s inspection process from fieldwork through final delivery. Our system emphasizes:

  • Completeness: Standard checklists, inspection logs, field notes, and photo documentation help ensure all required information is captured.
  • Consistency: Standard nomenclature and callout conventions make findings easier to understand, compare, and track over time.
  • Compliance: Our team participates in ODOT QA/QC training and maintains current knowledge of NBIS, SNBI, ODOT BrM, and applicable inspection requirements.

Responsive Support for Bridge Owners

When critical findings or bridge closures arise, timely communication matters. GUY works directly with bridge owners and agency staff to document findings, communicate repair needs, track status changes, and perform follow-up inspections as needed. Our established procedures include prompt written notifications, regular status updates, and clear documentation to help owners respond quickly and confidently.
